Modern Whig Party of Minnesota
Welcome

The Minnesota Chapter of the Modern Whig Party is currently organizing as an advocacy and watchdog group as we build our membership.  We are keeping track of our elected officials and advocating our philosophy.  One major issue is reform and a return to the states rights.  We need to break the hold of the two parties on us as a nation to reenter ourselves back into government.  This is the only way we can truly have a say in our nation.

We are building on the foundations of the National party.  We highly encourage you to visit them at:    www.modernwhig.org
If you have questions or suggestions for us, or if you want to know how you can get involved in the state party please email us at

The MN Modern Whig party is one part of the Modern Whig Party on a state level.  While our focus is the same our ideas may differ slightly to fit our state.  The goal of this chapter is to get back to real politics and ditch issues dividing us that have no bearing in government.  We promote a return to “active liberty.”  We believe in a reform to get the people back into government.  The government for the people by the people must be reemphasized.  We will not be fit into a media issue group.  We have members with differing ideas but with a similar philosophy on how to obtain our goals.  Although we are mainly veterans we have many civillian members as well.  If you have been looking for a breath of fresh air in politics then you have found the right place.  Military or civillian we are looking for new people and new perspectives.  contact us today on how you can help.

WHO ARE MODERN WHIGS?

Established in 1833, the Whigs are one of America's oldest mainstream political parties. We were the original party of Abraham Lincoln and four other U.S. Presidents.

Today, the Modern Whigs are the fastest-growing non-fringe party. We represent middle-of-the-road voters from all walks of life who cherry-pick between traditional Democratic and Republican ideas.

Whigs now organized in 19 states

The Modern Whig Party recently recognized new chapters in Minnesota, New Jersey and North Carolina. In keeping with the diversity of the movement, our co-chairs in MN are Iraq veterans, the NJ chair is a teacher and the NC chair is a golf professional. In just five months, this grassroots organization continues to catch on as the fastest-growing mainstream political party in the nation.
